2. Visiting this website
When you access the website, the hosting infrastructure may process technical information needed to deliver it securely and reliably. This can include your IP address, the requested page, date and time, browser and device information, referring page, response status, and similar server-log data.
Processing is based on Article 6(1)(f) GDPR. The legitimate interests are secure delivery, technical stability, abuse prevention, and troubleshooting. Technical logs are retained only as long as reasonably needed for those purposes and any applicable security or legal requirements.
3. The free 7-Day Body Reset
The signup form asks for your email address to process your request for the free PDF. The PDF download starts immediately after a valid request. You can receive the PDF without agreeing to marketing emails.
If you do not select the separate newsletter checkbox, your email address is not sent to MailerLite by this form. It is processed only as needed to validate and fulfil the immediate download request. The legal basis is Article 6(1)(b) GDPR, taking steps at your request to provide the resource.
4. Optional newsletter and MailerLite
Newsletter consent is optional, separate from the free-resource request, and unchecked by default. If you select it, your email address is sent to MailerLite and added as an unconfirmed contact to the dedicated 7-Day Body Reset group. MailerLite then handles the double-opt-in confirmation. Marketing emails are sent only after confirmation.
The legal basis is your consent under Article 6(1)(a) GDPR. Information needed to record and demonstrate consent may also be retained under Article 6(1)(c) and Article 6(1)(f) GDPR. You may withdraw consent at any time through the unsubscribe link in an email or by contacting us. Withdrawal does not affect processing that was lawful before it.
MailerLite acts as an email service provider and processor. It processes subscriber information to manage confirmation, groups, delivery, and unsubscribes. Its current privacy information is available at mailerlite.com/legal/privacy-policy.
5. Contact by email
If you contact us by email, we process your email address, message, and any information you provide to answer your request. Depending on the subject, the legal basis is Article 6(1)(b) GDPR or Article 6(1)(f) GDPR. Correspondence is retained only as long as needed to handle the request and meet applicable legal obligations.
6. Downloads and video content
PDF files and exercise videos are delivered through the website's hosting and asset infrastructure. Loading or downloading them can generate the same technical connection data described above. The videos use the browser's native video player and are not presented through a separate third-party video platform on these pages.
7. Amazon and Payhip links
Book links lead to Amazon, and workbook purchase links lead to Payhip. No personal data is sent to those services merely because a link is shown. When you choose a link, you leave this website, and the selected provider processes data under its own privacy terms. Purchases, payments, accounts, and fulfilment on those sites are controlled by the respective provider.
8. Cookies and analytics
This website does not currently install Google Analytics, Google Tag Manager, Meta Pixel, advertising pixels, or comparable analytics or marketing trackers. It does not currently set optional analytics or advertising cookies. Technically necessary storage or similar technologies may be used where required for security, network delivery, or functionality requested by you. See the Cookie Policy for current details.
9. Processors and international transfers
Service providers may process data on behalf of the controller where needed for website hosting, secure file delivery, and, with consent, MailerLite email services. Some providers may process data outside Germany or the European Economic Area. Where GDPR requires safeguards, transfers are based on an adequacy decision, approved standard contractual clauses, or another lawful transfer mechanism.
10. Retention
Personal data is kept only for as long as needed for the relevant purpose. Newsletter data is generally retained until consent is withdrawn or the subscription is otherwise ended, subject to limited retention needed to document consent, honour suppression requests, resolve disputes, or meet legal obligations. Other data is deleted or anonymised when it is no longer needed, unless law requires longer storage.
11. Your GDPR rights
Subject to the legal conditions, you may have the right to:
- access your personal data and receive information about its processing;
- correct inaccurate or incomplete data;
- request erasure or restriction of processing;
- receive data you provided in a portable format;
- object to processing based on legitimate interests; and
- withdraw consent at any time.
You also have the right to lodge a complaint with a competent data protection supervisory authority. You may contact the authority responsible for your place of residence, workplace, or the location of the alleged infringement. The supervisory authority generally responsible for private-sector organisations in Bavaria is the Bavarian State Office for Data Protection Supervision (BayLDA).
12. Data security
Appropriate technical and organisational measures are used to protect personal data against accidental loss, misuse, unauthorised access, alteration, or disclosure. No internet transmission or storage system can be guaranteed to be completely secure.
